Amateur Gundam Construction is a monthly series of streams where the Allies would put together Gundam models called Gunpla while casually chatting with each other and chat. The streams would often create many new jokes and memes such as I Play By Myself.
The first season debuted on January 19, 2017 and ended on January 26, 2018. After a long hiatus, Amateur Gundam Construction was brought back after feedback from the community and Season 2 was announced on August 13, 2019 during the Phase 4 Announcements. The second season officially premiered on September 17, 2019 but was subsequently placed on hiatus in April 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
