Don Casanova is one of the eight members and co-founders of Easy Allies. He was part of the remaining staff at GameTrailers before owner Defy Media shut down the company in 2016.
He serves as a secondary editor for Easy Allies, and is the creator of The Busted Trifecta. Don works part-time for EZA, as he is also one of the editors for Funhaus.
Easy Allies History
On May 7, 2016, Easy Allies premiered Don's Discount Gaming, a reality-style series where Don traverses the urban jungle in search of affordable entertainment.
The next Don production was a two-episode miniseries titled Don The Beat and Back Don The Beat. First premiering on August 4, 2016, Don investigated Beat Cop, a point and click adventure game from developer Pixel Crow.
Lost episodes of the GameTrailers series Don's Design Lab hosted by Don Casanova first premiered at Easy Allies on February 28, 2017. The show was a collaborative effort to playtest and design levels in Super Mario Maker for Wii U. The episodes were previously filmed at GameTrailers and featured guests like GT alumni Elyse Willems. Following the launch of Super Mario Maker 2 for the Nintendo Switch, new episodes of Don's Design Lab were announced and revealed during the Phase 4 announcements on August 13, 2019.
Black Jaguar: The Revenant is a short film produced by Don Casanova and starred by Bradley Ellis. It premiered during the Easy Allies in Concert: Revengeance live show on March 19, 2018, and it quickly became a cult classic among the Easy Allies community due to its unique presentation and style.
Don also premiered the long-form narrative show The Busted Trifecta on March 19, 2018, during the Easy Allies in Concert: Revengance live show. It takes place within the world of Tecmo's 1998 horse-racing game Gallop Racer for the original PlayStation and follows a man known as The Rider, who decides to give up his well paying job in order to follow his dream of becoming a world famous horse racer.
