EZX 2023, also stylized as EZX '23, is the seven-year anniversary celebration of Easy Allies and the fourth annual EZX event.
History & Announcements[]
On the first day of EZX '23, they posted the kickoff video that included all of the announcements, incentives, events, and fundraiser goals.[1] 2023 updates include the Patreon tier shakeup, new shows and streams, Huber Syndrome going back to Huber Hype, the return of Easy Allies Q&A with the new Hot Mics call-in segment, fundraising incentives, and more.[2]
Patreon Tier Changes[]
In March 2023, Easy Allies made some changes to their Patreon Tiers following the survey feedback. To make them less bloated and confusing, they brought down the number of tiers down from 15 to 8 and made the $5 and $10 tiers the most attractive options. Changes included some benefits moving up and down the tier list.[3] They announced the full schedule on Twitter. [4]
The return of Q&A plus Discord call-in segment[]
Easy Allies Q&A officially returned during EZX with the traditional written questions along with the brand new Discord call-in segment, Hot Mics.
Bot Fight Club[]
Bot Fight Club are streams where the Allies take a group of AI characters and shoutcast their way through matches for whatever chaos ensues. The first stream debuted during EZX.
Gabby's Never Seen[]
Gabby's Never Seen is a new series where the Allies will have Gabby watch some big films she's never seen and get her commentary as she watches them for the first time.
Huber Hype[]
Huber Syndrome is going back to its roots and taking back the name that started it all, looking in on all the things that get Huber to blast the mics.
Fundraising Goals[]
Easy Allies held a fundraiser with incentives throughout the week and tracked progress across Patreon, Twitch, and PayPal donations to help with ongoing expenses, improve the studio, updating equipment, and plan future events. By the end of EZX 2023, they raised $25,719 for their fundraiser.
