Huber Syndrome is a weekly show created by Michael Huber where he talks about video games, comic books, films, television series and more. It is a successor of his Template:GT show Huber Hype, and as the name implies, hype is prominently featured, especially at the end of each episode where he makes a special recommendation related to the week's topic.
According to him, The Huber Syndrome, or just The Syndrome, refers to the inability of turning off your mind about the things you love or some piece of media you're currently hooked on.
History
Talking Syndrome
On July 9, 2016, Huber premiered the first stream of the sub-show Talking Syndrome. Every Saturday, he discussed the week's episode with the community and occasional guests.
After 49 episodes, Talking Syndrome ended on September 2, 2017 with a discussion on Game of Thrones Season 7.
The Studio
Huber Syndrome filmed the last episode in Jones' garage on January 24, 2019 in a special Garage Farewell episode. He reminisced about the last three years in the garage before the big move into the new studio the following week.
The first episode in the studio debuted on January 31, 2019. The show was filmed on the main stage without a green screen for a few weeks before returning to the dynamic backgrounds on March 14, 2019.
In August 2019, it was announced during the Phase 4 Announcements[1] that Huber Syndrome would be going on hiatus while Huber worked on a limited series titled Huber's Prison of Love. The show premiered on December 4, 2019 and wrapped up on January 29, 2020.
On February 13, 2020, Huber Syndrome returned after close to a six month hiatus along with a new show logo. However due to the global pandemic, the show shifted from the studio to an at-home production just a few weeks later on March 26, 2020.
