Mini-Game Champions is an 8-episode Patreon-exclusive mini-game tournament series hosted by Daniel Bloodworth which has the Allies going up against each other in three rounds of competition in order to crown a mini-game champion.

The new show premiered[1] on October 21, 2020 during the week-long Patron Party 2020 event. The first episode was made available to the public with subsequent episodes being released exclusively to $1 and up patrons. As an additional bonus for patrons, they can shape the competition by submitting suggestions for mini-games they should play and tiebreaker scenarios.[2]

Due to the time needed to collect suggestions and upcoming next-gen coverage, a slight delay was expected for the rollout of the rest of the season. However, the production delay was extended even further due to other projects. The rollout for the remaining episodes of Season 1 was planned for release after Achieve It Yourself! Season 3 wrapped up. The first episode rerun was posted on Patreon on May 25, 2021 to catch people up on the tournament while the rest of Season 1 released weekly.

The mini-game competition is being held in a three-round single-elimination bracket format. Each matchup has the Allies competing in two different mini-games from various video games chosen by Bloodworth and the community. In the event of a tie, a special tiebreaker mini-game is played. Losers will be knocked out of contention until the next season.

Following the first episode, mini-games and rules were suggested by $1 and up patrons. Due to their work from home setup, there were submission guidelines for the first season:

  • Check on the availability of your suggestion
  • Limit submissions to mini-games that can be unlocked within the first two hours of starting a fresh save
  • Tiebreaker submissions can be suggested in a completely different mini-game or within the same mini-game with more extreme conditions for success
  • Optionally, include the quickest way to access your mini-game suggestion
