Stream Team is a fortnightly series of Patron-voted streams hosted by Michael Damiani and a rotating group of Allies. $15 and up Patrons are able to submit games for consideration in the next Stream Team and then Damiani selects a pool of games to be voted upon by Patrons. The winner is played the following week.
History[]
Stream Team was first announced during the Phase 4 announcements in order to give Patrons another opportunity to vote on games they play. Patrons could previously suggest and vote upon games to be played during Group Stream Night before the feature was discontinued. The first stream debuted on August 27, 2019.
All of the Allies were originally scheduled to play Mega Man Legends with Kyle during EZX Digital 2020 on March 24, 2020. After EZX Digital had to be adjusted to stream from home, a new poll was posted for a solo Kyle stream with BioShock winning the second poll.
On October 20, 2020, a special Stream Team double header was scheduled for the week-long Patron Party 2020 event. Two regular episodes were streamed back-to-back with different Allies playing Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time and Wheel of Fortune/Jeopardy.
From March 22-26, 2021, Easy Allies hosted EZX Digital '21. For the second annual EZX Stream Team, Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer: Comrades was selected in the patron poll.
On June 1, 2021, episode 46 featured the first guest to play on Stream Team. Ash Paulsen of Good Vibes Gaming played Knockout City with Damiani and Brad.
Easy Allies officially returned to The Studio as a group on June 10, 2021. The date coincided with all of the Allies being fully vaccinated and COVID-cleared as well as the first day of E3. Following E3, they held the Return to the Studio Marathon stream on June 18th to celebrate their return. All of the Allies played Hidden in Plain Sight for Stream Team during the marathon.
On September 5, 2021 , Easy Allies hosted a special edition of Stream Team on the final day of Easy Chillin' playing the Sega Genesis Classics collection. The stream featured guest Jason Wishnov who also provided commentary for the Chess Intramural Tournament.
On December 14, 2021, a special Don's Design Lab episode of Stream Team was streamed featuring Damiani's Lost Level. They were working on the episode before the pandemic, but it was never finished. Don, Damiani, and Isla brought back Damiani's original design blueprint to create his vision live on stream.
After Ben announced he was leaving Easy Allies on July 1, Ben appeared on one final Stream TEam playing Tony Haw's Pro Skter 3 on June 28, 2022.
On July 12, 2022, Easy Allies held the EZA House Party in honor of Bloodworth taking a two-week vacation. During the house party, the other Allies played Death Road to Canada as voted upon by the Suggestion Squad.
